WHIRLING DERVISHES OF RUMI SUFI MUSIC & PERFORMANCE
SATURDAY, 7 FEBRUARY 2009, 8 PM

"Come, Come, Whoever You are
Wonderer, worshipper, lover of leaving.
It doesn't matter.
Ours is not a caravan of despair.
Come, even if you have broken your vow a thousand times
Come, yet again, come, come."
RUMI

The Whirling Dervishes of Rumi features the revolving dance of the dervishes cloaked in long white robes accompanied by spiritual Sufi music performed live with traditional instruments dating back to the time of Rumi. In addition to memorable performances throughout the U.S., the Whirling Dervishes of Rumi have performed in Europe and Far East.

The attendees will have the unique opportunity to witness this spiritual and inspirational performance without having to travel to Turkey. It is a unique cultural experience that has been passed down from generation to generation for over 700 years.

Here is your chance to come and participate in this cherished, time honored tradition.
